In the Serial Monitor window, there is a dropdown button on the lower right. Set this to 9600ashleyhaw wrote:What is the serial console at 9600?
optiloader.h is one of the files that is part of the trinketloader sketch. You need to have it in the same folder as the trinketloader.ino file:ashleyhaw wrote: Hi! I tried to repair the bootloader as advised, and this is the error message I receive:
code.cpp:1:24: error: optiLoader.h: No such file or directory
code.cpp:10: error: expected initializer before '*' token
code.cpp:11: error: 'uint8_t' does not name a type
code.cpp:19: error: 'uint16_t' does not name a type
code.cpp:46: error: expected constructor, destructor, or type conversion before '*' token

Re: Gemma
Hi
The boys at my school in our Makerspace community are making a wearable electronic cuff and I would like to power it with the Gemma and some Smart Neopixels.
Can you recommend a list of materials that we would need for about 10 students?
Also would you recommend the Gemma or Gemma v2?

Re: Gemma
We don't stock the Gemma v1 anymore, so you'll get the v2.
You might consider getting one of the Gemma Starter Packs to get yourself going
https://www.adafruit.com/products/1657
If you want to wrap the NeoPixels around the cuff, you could get NeoPixel strips and cut them to length. They come in increments of 1 meter.

Or, you could get individual Flora NeoPixels, and sew them to the cuffs with conductive thread
https://www.adafruit.com/products/1260
https://www.adafruit.com/products/1559
If you cut the strips, you will have to solder wires to the individual segments for connection to the Gemma.
You'll also need a battery of some kind. I suggest a small LiPo battery
This is the smallest we have
https://www.adafruit.com/products/1317
This one is a little bigger, but will give you a longer run-time

You'll need a charger for the batteries:
This is the simplest one we have:
