Permission to post modified library

Post by tahmidmc »

Hi! I have been using the Adafruit 2.2" 240x320 TFT display (product 1480) for a few days now. However, I haven't been using it with an Arduino, but with a PIC32 (PIC32MX250F128B to be specific) and an Intel Edison. I have modified the available Adafruit library to work with these devices and am happy with the performance. These are just hobby projects of mine + independent study at my college. I was wondering whether it would be ok for me to post these modified libraries on my blog, and what sort of permission I would need from Adafruit to do so.

Thanks!

In your code, just make sure to include the original file headers and clearly state that your library was derived from the original Adafruit library.
