Not sure where to post this question, so here it is.
I am using the Pi and RaspiRobot Board v2 in my classroom. We are all having troubles getting our bots to roll straight. One solution or at least help towards the solution is to use the sensor that comes with the Magician Chassis kit. The motors in the kit have a small post near the axle and a sprocket is included. While no mention of this is explicitly made, I assume this is a Hall Sensor that can sense the pegs of the sprocket spinning past it. If we can get a signal from that sensor, we can correct for a large chunk of the drift. But, can we get that sensor reading? There is no mention of this in the RaspiRobot Board description.
