Ubuntu Image for the Beaglebone Black
Does anyone know of a Ubuntu flash image 4 Gb for the Beaglebone Black? I found the Ubuntu flash 2 Gb image, but is there a Ubuntu 4 GB flash image available?

Re: Ubuntu Image for the Beaglebone Black
I'm afraid we only have the 2GB image, and that's a bit old by now.
The 4GB BBB's run Debian, which is a derivative of Ubuntu. The latest images are on the official download page: http://beagleboard.org/latest-images

Re: Ubuntu Image for the Beaglebone Black
there are current (april 2015) development binary images of ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS available, e.g.
http://elinux.org/BeagleBoardUbuntu#Flasher (this is the eMMC flasher version. but there is also a plain image on the same page, if you instead want to run from the SD card)
the above images are still 2GB, but all you need to do is run something like
# /opt/scripts/tools/grow_partition.sh
and then reboot.
if you're going to be running from the onboard NAND, the grow_partition script will expand to the full 4GB. or if you're going to be running from the uSD card, I believe it will expand to the full size of the specific card.
