Concerning an Element14 BeagleBone Black Rev C. Purchased on May 29th, 2015. Order No. 796730-2508916820.
Yesterday, I powered down my BBB with a command "shutdown -hP now" and disconnected the power source. I moved the unit to another room in which I intended to power the system back up and write the python scripting to test a DHT22. However, the system will not power back on. I have tried both USB and 5v connector sources. I have even connected a power meter to try to see if the power sources are just failing (AD/DC 5v, 2A USB and barrel connector, 5v, 15000 mAh battery.) The power sources power other devices and report wattage and amperage use. When connected to the BBB no wattage or voltage is reported being drawn. (Photos attached)
I have pressed and help the power button in constant at different timed intervals; beginning with five seconds up sixty seconds at ten second incidents; with no change in outcome.
I inserted the microSD card for flashing the internal memory and attempted to boot from that, no change in outcome.
As some posts have suggested, I have disconnected all connections (power or otherwise) and allowed the unit to sit for several hours (over night) and re-attempted powering on, again with no dissimilar outcome.
I have not yet connected any devices to GPIOs, the DHT22 would have been my first attempt to and did not make it so I can't concede that an over power scenario is in play. All I had done to the unit at this point was update the Debian image and attempt to get WiFi networking functional.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Inoperable BBB Rev C
That does sound like a power system problem.
