Mini Minty MP3 Player

Post by Kraln »

Althought this player shares almost nothing technical wise with the Minty MP3 Player, it does live in an altoids chewing gum case, so I thought I'd post it here.

It uses a Sigmatel SoC and some generic firmware. It's got 512mb of NAND flash onboard, so it's pretty badass IMHO.

And there it is... :)

Did you make it? Mind sharing the schematics and code in that case (No pun intended)?

There's nothing really much to share. The SigmaTel chip does pretty much everything... the only problem is that you have to have a copy of their sdk which is like $13,000 to make firmware. I just happned to know a friend of a friend...

In a line: the schematics wouldn't help you, and the code requires a proprietary sdk.
