Voice Recorder

Hi people, I need your help here...
I need to build something like a digital voice recorder (like those used to make interviews), but it will be used to record the voice of a student. So, the only things I need this to have are:

- Line-In (for the microphone)
- Connection to PC (via USB)

Let me resume it, the student will be hearing a recorded lesson, and he must answer the questions he hear, and both things (mixed) will be recorded in the drive/card. I have no problems with the mixed signal, I only need something to convert and write this on the digital dispositive. Finally, when the lesson is over, the teacher must be able to access to the file and store it in a server or record it on an audio CD. The connection to PC MUST be USB, because there will be more than one, and all of them must be connected to the same central PC.

Things I don´t need to care about:

- Size (it will be hided)
- Batteries (it will not be portable)

I hope you can help me with this!

Thanks in advance
