Openhardware?
Out of curiosity, will the miniMinty be open hardware like the MintyMp3 was?
I like the concept of plugging in the headphones to turn on the unit, very slick, clever as well. What happens if you want to use the FM transmitter? Will there be a separate power button to use in this instance?

for when you're on that road trip to Canada and you forgot your #@&*ing tape-adapter dongle thingy.i'm pretty sure there wont be an FM transmitter.
hmmm....... I see, this is a feature that really set the original apart from the the rest of the field of Mp3 players. I am wondering if it is a space problem or just an issue of function or fabrication. I really like that feature. Very unfortunate.
I like the original reason for actually having the transmitter.
I will post the question again. Will the miniMinty be open hardware like the MintyMp3 was?

A CF card is just a couple of .1 inches too big to fit into a altoids gum box by itself.xoxota wrote:Why, origami, of course. I've actually never seen an Altoids gum box, so I don't know the dimensions...ladyada wrote:and how the hell would someone fit a CF card into an altoids gum box?
And a Altoids gum box is more then big enough to fit any usb thumb drives in it, with some extra packaging peanuts to stop the infernal racket it makes when doing so.
