Set of sensors for RPI/I2C

by abolotnov on Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:22 am

can someone suggest a set of sensors that I can wire on a single i2c bus and connect to I2C GPIO pins? There are so many different sensors and not all seem to be i2c compatible and require different working current and so on complicated details for newbies. I'm looking for a set of sensors that will sit on the same wires. I need temperature, humidity, light/lux ones. Thanks!

For light/lux, there is the TSL2561 :
This is an i2c device and will work on 3.3v.

For temperature and humidity, you have the DHT and the SEnsiron sensors.
Any of these sensors will give you both temperature and humidity. And they will all work with 3.3v. However none of them are i2c. They can be interfaced using any other gpio pins.
