No output through HDMI

Post by amalsaie »

Hi There,
I have recently bought Pi, but when I connect it through HDMI there is no output. I have tried using
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=4
I've tried as well
hdmi_safe=1
but no output
Regards

Hi - I've moved your topic to out Raspberry Pi support forum.

What sort of HDMI device are you connecting to? Does it work with other HDMI sources?
Have you tried a different HDMI cable?
Are you certain that the Pi is booting correctly?
Can you SSH into the Pi or get to the command line via serial a serial port?
Does the Composite Video output work?

The does boot normaly and this is clear when I use the video output. However, when I connect the HDMI there is no output the cable is working normaly when a play station is connected.
I didn't try the serial port yet.

Hmmm…
It's well worth trying a different cable anyway, if you have one. HDMI is notoriously twitchy.
If that doesn't work, please email [email protected] with a link to this thread and ask for a replacement Pi.
