Help with LCD+Keypad kit!!!

Hi,

I just purchased a Adafruit RGB Positive 16x2 LCD+Keypad Kit for Raspberry Pi. Unfortunately, I fear that I fried something in the soldering process during the assembly, as I was using a terrible butane soldering gun. The board is is not being recognized when attach it to the Raspberry Pi and I run the command i2cdetect -y 1.

I am in NYC and need another kit/board tomorrow, latest. Is there any way for me to get another kit same day in the city??

We don't have an actual storefront in NYC, but the NYU Bookstore is one of our distributors. They might have what you need.
