Support mounting a Raspberry Pi to the back of a monitor attached to a monitor stand? ie. do they support VESA "pass through"?
Thanks.

Are you referring to the signals or the mechanical mounting?

Re: Raspberry Pi VESA Mounts support monitor stand?
I've been looking into this for the same reason, however I highly doubt it's possible.
I have yet to find a VESA mount that has a suitable frame to attach this to the back of it, however I think it might be possible to hang the RPi mount from the lower two holes of the monitor mount. (Basically use the "upper" two holes on the Pi support on the "lower" two holes of the VESA bracket)
Only problem I see with this method would be if it hangs down below the bottom of the monitor.

Interesting idea - if it hangs out the bottom of the monitor you could probably use the top two VESA holes to mount the Pi "above" the VESA mount.

With the disclaimer that I haven't actually done this, I'd think you can make the mechanical side of things work by using beefy metal standoffs.. either solid metal with a threaded stub on one end and a threaded hole on the other, or a piece of thick-wall tubing that a long screw can run through.
If you wanted to be really serious about it, you could drill out the holes to 3/16" or so and use rods with shoulders cut to fit through the hole. Structurally, all the force in the connection would run through the metal, and the plastic mounting plates for the RasPi would more or less hang from those.

Exactly, this is the reason I suggested it hanging from the bottom supports, there should be less tension in those bolts (assuming the monitor isn't leaning forwards at some crazy angle)
A simple solution without drilling anything would be to find two M4x0.7 nuts (I believe, you'll want to check this yourself!) and then put the VESA mount bolt through the Pi support, put the nut on the other side and leave it loose, then through the monitor mount into the monitor itself. The bolt would then be effectively taking the force of the monitor. (again, length of the bolt permitting)
