I just hooked a Pi Noir camera to my Raspberry Pi and the image has a couple of broad horizontal streaks across it. The main one is about 1/6 of the screen height about half way up.
I moved things around to see if it was a noise source, but no changes were noted. I also remove the lens protector film it shipped with and that made no difference.
Is this a bad part, or do you have any trouble shooting ideas?

Did you try reseating the camera cable? Make sure it's fully inserted and secure

Re: Problem with Pi Noir camera
I just reseated the camera ribbon cable and still get the same artifacts. I have captured the motion vectors from the camera and they coincide with the visible artifacts on the screen.
