Hello everyone,
After using some other SBCs like the Cubieboard, I thought I might as well try out a Raspberry Pi. Unfortunately, the Model B I ordered from Adafruit does not even turn on.
I have it powered by the same adapter I use for a Cubieboard2 (5v output) but it won't do anything besides turning on the red power light. When I plug in an ethernet cable, I don't get a connection light on the router or on the board.
Any idea what the problem could be?
I've tried connecting it without anything else but it simply doesn't work.

What is the current output of your power supply? It should be at least 1A for the R Pi.
Is the green LED next to the red LED glowing dimly?
