Ordered a Raspberry Pi Model B+

Post by JoeO »

Just got my order in for the model B+. Looks nice, more GPIO signals.
Unfortunately there are no cases available for them YET!

FYI, It looks like you can use the OLD 40 pin version of IDE cables to break out the GPIOs from the Model B+.
These would be the OLD 40 pin cables, not the NEWER 40 Pin IDE cables with an individual ground wire for each signal wire.
I will post back results as soon as I get my Model B+.

They're already selling and shipping them from their website. They need to produce Adafruit's supply faster.

I have a Pi B+ as well. Any update/best guesses on the availability of these enclosures?

Thanks,
Alan

That looks nice, but I particularly liked the Pibow Coupé, because it let you plug into the GPIO from above - which is the perfect arrangement for Pi Power or other Pi Plate-like things. All they need to do to that one is cut the rectangle in the top to make it perfect.

Oh wait... here it is... http://shop.pimoroni.com/products/b-pibow-coupe
