I see that Adafruit offers three WiFi adapters:

http://www.adafruit.com/products/1012
http://www.adafruit.com/products/1030
Does anyone have any experiences with these products related to RaspbMC? Which of these are going to have drivers included in the kernel? All of them?
Ideal WiFi adapter for RaspbMC?

Re: Ideal WiFi adapter for RaspbMC?
They all work from the same chipset, so it's mostly a question of size: how big is the antenna, and how big is the box around it.
All three work, but we see more questions from people having trouble with the mini adapter (#814) than the other two. The tradeoff in radio systems is, "small, long range, or low power: choose one". The mini adapter does small, but making it work with the RasPi pushes it into 'low-power' territory as well. Sometimes (less than 1%) a specific RasPi won't like a specific dongle in a given operating environment.
I can't remember the last time I helped someone solve problems with either the midsize or external-antenna versions.

Okay, thanks for the info. I will be using it with a PiHub, so I think I will be okay with power, and it only needs to communicate over a short distance. I'll probably go for the mid-sized one without the antenna.
