While searching your help I found the webide program and was instructed to install VNC.
THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING! So easy. I can connect to the pi desktop with my phone, tablet and pc from anywhere. All I have WIFI on my pi. I found a Python based programing language that might be useful for other hackers Pygames - It's got all the stuff you need to make a GUI for your next garage door opener project. Rectangles, lines circles fonts etc..Easy.
WOW! VNC

VNC is definitely cool. I couldn't live without my remote desktops.

Re: WOW! VNC
I have been following Lesson 7 Rpi set up and installation of VNC server on Rpi B ver 2.
I keep getting a message that my connection is being refused by the host? I am using a Mac with VNC viewer. I am able to connect via ssh very easily. I am thinking that I am getting the host name or IP address incorrect somehow. I ran ifconfig to get this: So my wlan0 address is 10.0.0.9 correct? This is the address I am ssh through?
Thanks
Dave

Re: WOW! VNC
Are you specifying the port number when you try to connect? I'm not familiar with VNC Viewer - I use the built-in Mac Screen Sharing app. For Screen Sharing, I would have to specify 10.0.0.9:5901 for the address. 5901 is the port number.
