Saw this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tontec-2-8-240x ... =undefined
Am I the only one that would like to know how to change my lxde to just be scaled instead of zoomed in? 90% of the menus don't fit with the current PiTFT settings.

Re: PiTFT Settings
hiya...we've seen these before. what they do is actually have 'fbcp' type action in the background, this makes them really slow/flakey in comparison to kernel-level updates. not sure if its worth the tradeoff but thanks for letting us know - at this time its not possible to do with the PiTFT (that we know of!)

Re: PiTFT Settings
That is too bad. It would be nice if it were a little bit bigger (not the screen but the resolution) so that more basic lxde tasks could be accomplished. That's just my opinion though.

Re: PiTFT Settings
we wish 2.8" could come in bigger resolution but its not available at this time...
however, we have 480x320 at 3.5" for PiTFT and 800x480 at 5" for HDMI which is nice and fast too - this is the best resolutions we can get for the size without being Samsung :)

Re: PiTFT Settings
Thanks I guess its a hardware limitation unless you sacrifice speed if I understand correctly. Maybe I'll try the 3.5

Re: PiTFT Settings
for the PiTFT more resolution -> slowed updates, the 3.5" is not as fast as the 2.8" too, so be aware of that!
the HDMI displays are ultra fast, if you need speed + resolution, go for the 5" HDMI!!!
