1601 Capacitive display just shows lines

Post by sempf »

I installed the 1601 capacitive display on my B+ and it worked great for a week.

Now when I boot the Pi it shows white for a few seconds, and then when it would go to the text console, it just shows the really fine white lines.

HDMI works fine.

I completely reformatted the SD Card, started over with noobs, and have the same problem.

No obvious physical damage - hasn't left my bench yet!!

Thoughts?

What does it do with the pre-configured adafruit image? Have you tried that?
