Hi guys,
I have bought one of the TFT Monitors (http://www.adafruit.com/products/946), the Powerboost 500 (http://www.adafruit.com/products/1944) and a Battery (http://www.adafruit.com/products/328).
I'm trying to work out how I power the TFT monitor now and am a complete newbie when it comes to this stuff.
Can anyone please help....
cheers.

You will have to make a cable. You can use one of these:
https://www.adafruit.com/product/369
Wire from the 5V and GND pins on the PowerBoost to the plug adapter. Make sure you get the polarity right - wire 5V to + and GND to -

Re: Setup TFT Monitor for Model B+
thanks Rick.
I managed to do that however I'm getting a flickering on the display.
I tried using a 12v power pack connected to the mains and the flickering stopped.
I also tried some other cables to check if it was a cable issue but when using the powerboost it always flickers.
Any ideas?
cheers.

Unfortunately, 5V is marginal for that display. It's happier with 9 or 12 volts. You probably can't do what you're trying to do with it.

I got this as the product details page said it was able to be run off 5v in the testing done by Adafruit.
I've seen that some TFT displays can be hacked to run off 5v instead of 12v by moving the location of red wire onto one of the pins on the voltage regulator, can this be done with the Adafruit 4.3" TFT?

I have not idea if it's possible to hack the display.
Are you running anything else off of the PowerBoost, or is it just the display?

ugh sometimes they work on 5V sometimes they change up. you can open it and see if you can tap in after like a voltage regulator?
