Raspberry Pi B+ stopped working
Hey! I just ordered a RPi B+ from Adafruit on 1/19/15 (Order #: 685040-9226146701). I am using the 5V 2A Switching Power Supply w/ 20AWG 6' MicroUSB Cable [ID:1995]. Everything worked fine for one day but I was updating Raspbian when it suddenly powered down. I assumed the SD card had gotten corrupted so I reformatted a new one but by this point, the RPi was only showing a very dim red light and would not connect to any video output devices, despite no USB or power-drawing devices being plugged in. I am unclear on what happened and if there is any way to fix it on my own.

Re: Raspberry Pi B+ stopped working
Hmm.. we've seen a couple of reports like that recently.
Send a note to [email protected] with a link to this thread. The folks there will get you a replacement RasPi B+ and arrange return shipping for the one you have so we can take a look at it in our own lab.
