new 2,8" PiTFT - Assembled not working

Post by tdkryger »

Hi

I bought a PiTFT (PID #1601) from a local distributer (http://www.let-elektronik.dk/), but i'm having some problems with it. I have a Rasbperry Pi B+ and the TFT is white.
I get these errors when booting with a hdmi monitor:
  • pcm512x: probe of 1-004c failed with error -5 (which apperently is a I2S sound card driver and can be ignored)
    Module fbtft_device not found.
    module rpi_power_switch not found
I used the DIY Installer script from learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pitft-28-inch-resistive-touchscreen-display-raspberry-pi/easy-install but i'm getting some strange responses like:

Code: Select all

(This is from the 2nd run of the script, so some files are downloaded)

So why is the modules missing?

btw in the script i need to say no to "Would you like the console to appear on the PiTFT display?" to get x on the TFT?

With your all-in-one image works. The 'dont run "sudo apt-get upgrade"' will be a challenge to remember :o)
