I was wondering if anyone could let me know if it were possible to run a piTFT and Adafruit RGB Positive 16x2 LCD+Keypad Kit for Raspberry Pi simultaneously?

Yeah, that should work.
The PiTFT uses the SPI pins, and the LCD Plate uses I2C. You'll need to enable I2C under Advanced Options in raspi-config, but that should do it.
