Two nuts not thread in Raspi B+ Acrylic Box Kit

Post by cstanke »

Hi,

Well, the subject says it all. I just got around to putting together my Adafruit acrylic Raspberry Pi B+ box kit and found that two of the eight nuts are not threaded. I don't have a tap and die set so I'll need two replacement nuts that have been tapped.

That's really wierd..

We'll be happy to get you replacements, but could you post a photo of the nuts showing the inside that should be threaded please?

Here's the best I could do... The nut at top is tapped (threaded). The two at the bottom are not.

Thank you.. that's bizarre, but the nuts clearly haven't been threaded.

Send a note to support @adafruit.com with a link to this thread and the folks there will get you some new hardware.
