Hello,
I am having some trouble with a RasPi 2 from my recent order 770941-3333274744. I am trying to determine if I'm doing something wrong or if the Pi is bad.
I have tried two different power supplies (one 1.5A and the other 2.1A) and 3 different SD cards (all sandisk 16gb class 10) but no matter what I do, I only get a solid red and green light on the Pi, with no video or other activity. All 3 SD cards have been tested and worked in a Raspberry Pi B+. Both power supplies also work for the B+.
I am providing pictures of the tested devices.
The SD card I am trying to use.
The 2.1A power supply
The 1.5A power supply
The SD card inserted in Pi
The solid status LEDs

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 Unresponsive
The v2 uses a new microprocessor, and needs a version of the OS specifically compiled for it. OS images that work for the B+ may not have code the new chip can read.
Try getting the latest copy of Raspbian from the RasPi website and see if that works:

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 Unresponsive
I have tried both the latest version of Raspbian and OSMC, and neither produce any activity on the Pi2.

Okay, we know the image is good.
For the sake of verifying the SD card, can you boot another RasPi with the same card?

Yes, all three cards boot my B+ just fine.

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 Unresponsive
Thanks.. that does sound like the problem is between the SD holder and the CPU.
