Hi,
I was wondering if there is a possible combination of battery and PowerBoost that would fit inside the PiTFT Enclosure: https://www.adafruit.com/products/1892
Thanks!

Re: PiTFT Enclosure + Battery and PowerBoost
a thin 2000mah or 1200mah + powerboost would likely fit between the PiTFT and Pi, we basically do that here:

(with a similar screen and Pi) but we haven't really tested it!

Very cool! I'll give this a try. I had ordered a PowerBoost 1000C and a 1200 mAh, will this be enough or should I order the 2500 mAh battery?adafruit2 wrote:a thin 2000mah or 1200mah + powerboost would likely fit between the PiTFT and Pi, we basically do that here:

Re: PiTFT Enclosure + Battery and PowerBoost
Hi all,
I am returning the 3.5" SainSmart LCD TFT, and want to replace it with the PiTFT 3.5" for my Raspberry Pi 2.
A few questions. I'll be using this for a few Ham Radio applications (SDR and Panadpter for two).
1. It appears I can install a kernel to install the drivers on my Raspian image. I don't want to start from scratch if I don't have to. Couldn't seem to do that with the SainSmart.
2. Will there be a case available for the RPi2, like the PiTFT Enclosure (ID: 1892), that can house the 3.5" PiTFT?
Thanks!

Re: PiTFT Enclosure + Battery and PowerBoost
1) Yes, we have a package that will install on top of most Raspbian-derived operating systems that will provide support for the PiTFT.
2) We don't have any enclosures specifically for the 3.5" PiTFT.

That's great. Hopefully there will be a case soon ;). I want to support "true believers" in the Raspberry Pi.
