Product: Assembled PiTFT 3.5" Display
Order #:885336
Purchase Date: Sep 29, 2015
Recently I replaced my 3.5" PiTFT screen because my original screen arrived and it was damaged and would not (part of the flex connector going to the screen was broken). I then ordered a replacement and when I switched out the screens I found that the screen was always stuck on a white screen even after I followed both the easy install and the detailed install (both on clean installs of Raspian). I also tried installing the ROM provided on the install page of the PiTFT 3.5" screen and still no luck.
/dev/fb1 does exist and I can start the x server on it but nothing shows up. Essentially the pi acts as if the screen is there but nothing happens From googling around what I have come up with is that the kernel is not finding the PiTFT.
Anyone have an idea to fix this?
