PiBeacon using Bluetooth 4.0 USB Module
I set up a PiBeacon using Bluetooth 4.0 USB Module and BlueZ library per the DIY instructions. I would like to be able to modify the Transmit Power of the beacon signal, but is this something that's even possible to begin with? I tried changing the value of export POWER_1 in the beacon.config file but that didn't seem to work.

We don't know the BlueZ library well enough to answer that one.

It looks like it has the FCC approval stamp and the FCC specifies the power, usually.
