Hi,
I'm working on the Gemma Pixel Ring Earrings project from the site. When I unpacked the pixel rings they have different connection markings to the original project circuit diagrams.
My pixel rings have two connections marked 'V+' instead of a VCC, and two connections marked 'G' instead of GND. Did the circuit board design change for the pixel rings? Is one of the 'V+' connectors the same as VCC? And should I use one of the G connections instead of GND?
These will be holiday gifts so I'd be grateful if anyone has an answer.
Thanks
Richard

Re: Gemma Earrings - Different Pixel Ring markings problem?
I just finished putting one together for my wife. G is Gnd, V+ is Vcc. I assume there are two of each to simplify wiring when you are putting a couple in series.
Note, I used solid wire instead of stranded wire. Oops. Makes plugging and unplugging the battery and the USB cable very hard. Don't do that. Use stranded wire. I'm going to unsolder those wires and replace them.
