Hello,
This is my first time working on these type of projects and appreciate the guidance of our gurus.
I'm working on a wearable project and would like to use the on/off switch below:
Its super simple:
One Gema connected to one NeoPixy Ring. I followed the instructions for the NeoPixi Earings. However this will be in an enclosure and would like to turn it on/off from the outside without having to open the enclosure each time to turn it on and off again.
I'm thinking of putting a Pin on the outside of the enclosure that pushes on the on/off button that is inside.

is what i have bought for this.
Do i need any special code to get this to simply turn on/off the Gema/NeoPixi Ring.
I know this product is for breadboards but can i make it work with a wearable?
I've looked on various parts of the forums and website before posting.
Thank you very much.

You could also use a reed switch and a magnet as a switch. https://www.adafruit.com/products/375 You could use a smaller magnet for this.

Re: Tactile Switch Buttons for Wearable On/Off GEMA/Ring
alright i figured it out. What i needed is a Momentary on/off button. This button stays in the position pressed, it creates a physical connection. The adafruit push button i purchased doesn't lock, it would need to be controlled via the software.
Here is a sample of the type of button i used:
