Hello, this is my first post here so I'm just winging it...
I made these two hats for a recent trip; I've become fairly proficient using EL wire but now I'd like to get into using some of the adafruit products to enhance my projects and hopefully to start incorporating more LED technology. I guess my question is where do I start? Can I power EL wire through the Flora or Gemma? What's a good way to combine EL wire with LEDs to create something both wearable and functional? Help!

You need an inverter for EL wire - you can't power it though Flora or Gemma. We don't have any simple solutions for computer control of EL wire.
