Re: GPS FONA 3g NOT WORKING
A few things to check; are you using an active antenna? If so you have to solder the bias on the module.
You also need to be outside with the antenna or right next to a window with a clear view of the sky.
I would highly recommend using an active antenna, a fix with a passive antenna can take minutes.
There are only two commands needed to be able to use the GPS;
AT+CGPS=1
Wait a while then

I bought the antenna in adafruit, also the conector between the antenna and the simcom board. I haven`t solder the conector to the board. Do I have to solder it?
I attached somo photos of my conections.

If this is this antenna;
https://www.adafruit.com/products/960?g ... oCFdvw_wcB
Then it is an active antenna and you need to solder the pads together labeled 'bias'

And you are probably never going to get a GPS fix inside your house if that's where the antenna is placed. Put it outside or right next to a window.
