Re: Is there a decent 909 clone?
dont suppose you have an extra set of opamps by any chance? I have a bunch of 4558s which should be a better match the 072s but you obviously took this to the next level. I need to service mine (switching 5V reg upgrade) and want to replace the 072s I have in there now. I'll throw in my .brd file for the stand alone noise source as some motivation (makes an independent noise source for the clap so it doesn't phase with the snare)

Re: Is there a decent 909 clone?
Hey everybody,
I have sent all the packages for the 9090 kits, and already had time to update the design of the MB909 sequencer beta boards for a second professional manufacturing.
I have ordered 20 PCB's of the MB909 sequencer beta version mkII.
The list for signing up for the beta version is on: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... sp=sharing
A few pics, video and info on the sequencer on: Roland TR909 Sequencer clone-MB909
I would prefer people that :
already have a 9090 and/or TR909
will be able to upload an update of the firmware to the mainboard (this is easy with Tk's MIOS terminal)
would like to test the software and hardware and give me tips to improve the design (again soft and hard)
So if you put your (nick)name on the list, I'dd like to ask you to send me an email if you have a 9090 or TR909, etc.
Cheers,
Jef

I'm interested, have a TR909...but what's going on with this frontpanel/case? Are you still working on it?
(Cant't find any private message button in the forum anymore, don't know why)

Re: Is there a decent 909 clone?
hey Substyler,
It depends on the options you want with the kit. But the price including shipment to Germany ranges between 292.95 Euro and 397.45 Euro.
you can check out the prices on http://www.synthage.com/groupbuy/groupbuy.php and click on the join 9090 tab.

Re: Is there a decent 909 clone?
Hi guys,
I'm selling Trevor's 9090 drum synths, completely assembled.
built with all the rare parts after Trevor's specifications. this machines work with external 15V AC power adapters so you'll have no hum or other noises and it's way more safe.
the CNC machined front- and backplates are made from 3mm and 1.5mm silver anodised aluminum with sub-eloxal printing. (scratch resistant)
no pot screws on the frontside, because there's a new frontpanel PCB with soldered pots.
this machines have a new output PCB too with integrated adjustable stereo outs.
100% handmade by me.
I built these synths for a year now and all the guys are pretty happy with it, so I think it's time to tell ya :-)
every machine cost 590 euro, fully assembled and tested.
shipping in germany is free, EU shipment cost around 20 euro. worldwide shipping around 40 euro. (depending on the destination)
drop me a mail if you want one :-)
in case you need hi-res pics before let me know.
best,
Sub
