Re: TB-303 & TR-606 reissue?
I was offered one of the beta units of these for a reduced price, afaik the retail will be close to 1000 euro which to me is a little overpriced since you could get the real deal for that.
One other thing, it looks smd, and from what I gather it's some sort of hybrid as far as synthesis goes, though don't quote me on that, the details were a little sketchy to say the least.

I had a bit of a heads up that something like this was in the works, at least if it's the relationship between Cy and now Touched by Sound.
I had some brief discussions regarding the 303 and especially the firmware, although I have a conflict of interest and I am not involved in the project.

Also as far as I can tell from various forums and the AH mailing list, TT is out of business, or very close to that.

Re: TB-303 & TR-606 reissue?
After the whole TBS "Look at our cool new 4 part multitimberal stereo SID synthesizer that looks exactly like a midibox MB-6582 by mere coincidence" gag at Messe, I dont want to even hear their BANNED. Who's firmware are they going to rip off and not credit?

Re: TB-303 & TR-606 reissue?
So what could this thing actually be? I have some doubts TBS did all the (reverse) engineering themselves. But it's likely they already have some experience constructing 303 clones, as TBS share some history with MAM (builder of the MB33). In case they really want to sell those units for 1000 bucks I don't think things will work out for them. For 300,- you can get a x0x kit, for about 500,- you can buy prebuild x0xes and if you put a bit more money into it, you can get a cool case too (like the alumium one at Christian's x0xsh0p). Also, all the die-hard-303-fans have already gotten themselves a either a x0x or a 303.
just my 2 cents
So let's lean back, grab some popcorn and wait what will happen.

lol... I would get a x0xb0x, not that I need more of them , or a Future Retro Revolution anyday.
