Comparison Video tb-303 vs. x0xb0x

Hi,

today I created a comparison-video with my tb-303 and xoxshop-x0xb0x.
I was surprised how similar the sound of the x0xb0x from x0xsh0p is (thanks substyler!

).
Switch the video to HD to get best Video and Sound-Quality!

I also have a mp3/wav with very good quality, but no webspace to put it on.
But I can send it to someone who will host it!

Hi,

some people didn't get it:
Use Headphones!
Tb-303 is on the left channel, x0xb0x on the right!

the x0x cutoff offset (TM3) is a bit higher than the 303
but i think there's also an accent boost mod enabled, am i right?

this is when you bring the envmod down, x0x has excessive accent "wow" (in blue)

Hi,

substyler from x0xsh0p built this x0x. He said he used all the original parts except the ba xxx (forgot the name).
There are no mods installed as far as I know!

roxxx303: i could be wrong, i didn't clearly see what you did with the knobs there so i assumed they are to either 0 or 100% and not inbetween

Hi Antto,

when you switch the video to HD on YouTube (and fullscreen) you can see at least the Knob-Marks of the x0xb0x.
At most of the times I turn the knobs full left or right!

I think the Filter offset of the x0x is, as you said, a little bit higher, so it sounds brighter, but the Filter closes not as much as the 303.
When I got the 303 I was disappointed that it lacks the sharp bite in the heights which the x0x has. But now I know that's the Filter-offset of my x0x!

Is there a (easy) mod where I can get both advantages? (For both machines?)

both of them have TM3
open it and adjust to taste
