Hmm, might be time for a new extended project to work on.. What's eta for next run of boards? Are you using a stock B707/how are you triggering?

Re: coming soon... TR-8060 Analogue Drumsynth
Ok. Does this mean that youre not planning kits anymore?
I dont mind waiting. Or even just the rare parts if you dont mind selling me one? I guess i can get a pcb made from a pcb house with this file?
I really dont want to miss out on this if possible. I missed the MB808 project.
Many thanks Chr istian for all of your hard work!
cheers, Ben

Re: coming soon... TR-8060 Analogue Drumsynth
hi,
there will be a new batch within the next 2 weeks. (PCB v1.1.2)
I'll tell you when the PCBs are ready to ship.
@ Altitude: the proto I've made is working with the stock B707 seq. and a second PCB with a MIDI to trigger board. I'm still working on a better solution with a friend of mine (with deeper knowlegde about PIC programming )

the beat707 has a trigger mod, have you looked at that (http://www.beat707.com/downloads/hacks/ ... utputs.pdf)? it's limited with the standard arduino but with a mega should cover all your needs and then some

Hello SubStyler,
happy to see you and your great projects of TR-8060.
I'm very interested in the PCBs of TR-8060, and have sent to you e-mail about 8060
My Best Regards,
Oka.

Re: coming soon... TR-8060 Analogue Drumsynth
the new PCBs will come somewhat later because of this:
every new PCB will have MIDI onboard so it will be more easy to connect to any hardware- or softwaresequencer.
the new kits comes with a pre-programmed PIC for the MIDI functions.
cheers,
Sub
btw: someone here like the very crispy sounds from the well known CR-68 / CR-78?
tomorrow I'll receive the first prototype PCBs for a CR-68 clone

Cool! Where are you selling these from? Are selling any component kits too?SubStyler wrote:the new PCBs will come somewhat later because of this:

SUb: Why dont you ask Trevor Page if you can use his code for the 9090, should be east enough to adapt to the 808 circuit (even better maybe since the 9090 has accent per voice via midi velocity)

Re: coming soon... TR-8060 Analogue Drumsynth
hi Altitude,
I've asked Trevor and (surprisingly) he gave permission to use his circuits... but I have some trouble to figure out how his circuit exactly works.
I mean there is this 9090 MIDI interface schematic on the web, but it's not 100% clear how it works and how it is connected.
so I have made a new circuit with help from a friend. there is accent, but not per voice.
cheers,
Sub
