Is this normal accent behaviour?

Post by Rossf »

Hello,I've just noticed on my recently built xox that an accent will effect the decay of the filter sweep even if the accent knob is at zero-so say if cutoff high, res high, env mod high and decay full then I get that classic filter sweep sound,I suppose taking about two seconds to sweep down the filter, but if I do an accent note (say holding down a key in keyboard mode with accent button on,the length of the filter sweep is the same as when the decay is turned right down-and of course if I turn the accent knob up from zero it starts to affect the volume of the accented notes-didn't think the accents hidden in a pattern were meant to affect the sound until the accent knob was turned up from zero-
Or is this how it should work?
Cheers

yes, that's exactly how it works
accented notes have short decay time, while the accent knob just makes them louder and adds a "wow" to the filter cutoff
