Hi, im new here so hello all. I have acquired an xoxbox MKII like this -
http://www.moogaudio.com/mode-machines- ... 9fn66f59e3
Problem is the faceplate acrylic stuck to the aluminium is pealing up all round the edges. I tried gluing it back with super glue which does seem to work but its made a bit of a mess on the acrylic which wont come off!
I could do with getting hold of a replacement acrylic bit so i can stick a new one on the metal really, are these available anywhere or do i need to buy a whole new faceplate? What are my options?
I have seen this posh one - http://www.willzyx.com/products/black-l ... main-panle - but id rather just get an acrylic bit to stick on + there is no indication of how much shipping + VAT + import charges are to the UK with this. This option seems like it could turn out rather expensive!
Thanks all

Hi,
Theres No such thing as a X0XB0X mk2 - they dont exist, its the same x0x with a different badge
But you can get some lovely faceplates at x0xb0x.de they are powder coated and a much better faceplate than the mode machines one.,
If you get a stick on one then at some point its going to peel again, better getting a proper one.

Really i had no idea, looks like i have a bit to learn about these machines then! I got it as faulty to repair (its working now) & never new the origin of it as I just like to dive in really with any old dead audio/analogue gear. I'll be keeping this thing as it really does sound very nice indeed, very faithful to the original.
Cheers for the reply, much appreciated ill take a look
