Reset BPM tempo

Post by jaabaa »

Hi,

It seems that the internal tempo of my x0xb0x is something like 120.8 BPM.

Then turning the "TEMPO" knob will change to 119.8, 118.8, 117.8 etc. or 121.8, 122.8, etc.

How to reset BPM to 120.00 ? (I would prefer, without computer!)

Thanks

you can't

the firmware only increments the tempo in 1BPM steps, thus the tempo is probably 120 when you measure it as 119.8

I thought that when you use Tap tempo, you could easily go to something like 119.8.
Is it impossible ?

Is the BPM obtained with Tap tempo rounded to the nearest integer ? (ie tap tempo 119.8 => 120)

yes

n0nx0x2 does too, but it has a tempo calibration feature which lets you get closer to "120"
it's still not "perfect" tho

i noticed my x0x's "120 bpm" is actually exactly 120.24 bpm... i'm new to this whole analogue business so maybe that's normal but still a little annoying
