I have no idea, I think i might buy a real midi converter just to see what's up. I suppose if the real converter still does the same thing ill sell it and get the moog repaired.

One thing that does work GREAT which you should try if you haven't already. Is if you take CV - Filter mod input on the moog you can sequence filter patterns with the x0xb0x. Some nice midi synced sample and hold type things are very possible. Even on 'random mode' it sounds pretty great.

anyone know if you can tun the cv out?

or is it locked to the x0x's internal VCO tirms?
