Thanks diogenes for your reply. Interesting to hear how industrial sensors are done thanks for the info.

Thanks for the tips about the dedicated measurement chips I have had a look at them. Im pretty happy with the accuracy as it is, using the CT sensor and voltage synthesis so unless I come across a method of measuring the voltage that doesn't require fiddling with the mains I will probably leave it at that.

We operate a TV studio in Asia (Philippines) and have been looking into prepaid power solutions - and realized that stuff on the market is either (a) cr*p, (b) overpriced, or (c) unsuitable. Therefore considering to develop it inhouse. Power is extremely expensive here and people do not realize (leave aircon running etc.) ... therefore anybody who has passion and experience and want to spend maybe 3-4 weeks in the sunny Philippines please let me know.
