Eneloop USB charger stick

Post by Ramjet1 »

Has anyone hacked this or know how the thing is designed electronically. Seems like a cool product that would warrant being even cooler with some mods. The only place that seems to sell it is Japantrendshop for 50 bucks. Thanks.

Well, nobody posted a response so today I'm goingntomtearbdown the charger stick and see whatnthe guts look like. I'll post some pix later. The reason I'm impressed with it is it appears that USB port acts as both an input for charging and an output to power your device. Need tonknow howmtheynpulled thatnoff in such a tinynform factor.

For those that are interested, I've taken apart the enveloop stick and we're analyzing the circutry as I write this. Should have info on what's what in the morning. Actually, pretty interesting design but won't know how effective until the electro guys are done scoping the circuit.
