WooHoo. Thanks to @eevblog Dave Jones for tweeting the sale, I was able to get this scope (note: model 2530 NOT 2530B) from Grainger for $174.65. Unfortunately, they are sold out. Glad I oredered quick. But this may be an indication of the price for these scopes as the new model causes sales of the old model. I looked around for the rest of you and unfortunately, I couldn't find any 2530s on eBay or any of their sponsored linked. Reply if you find some.
Two questions:
1) How do you - or can you - update the firmware?
2) The weirdo connector in the back (not the power or USB) is, I am guessing, an IEEE-488 bus connector. Any suggestions/links for any cool hacks using that bus? Arduino IEEE-488 shield?
Thanks,
Rick
