I'm newbe to this group, so please understand that electronics is not my forte. I have a need for a servo power expander that is greater than this: http://www.servocity.com/html/servo_power_boards.html
but less than this: http://www.smart-fly.com/Products/Expander/10.html Basically, I have just a few more servo's than my receiver has ports. I need 9 channels to handle all the aircraft functions, and get power to the receiver. The servocity unit only has 8 channels. I'm pretty good at handling small components, and I have a very good soldering iron with various small tips. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: servo expansion board
Hi ZX32TT,
I know your post is now almost a month old but did you see the new
"Adafruit 16-Channel 12-bit PWM/Servo Driver - I2C interface"
It may be what you were looking for.
At $15 it is less expensive than the "Adafruit Motor/Stepper/Servo Shield".
