Hi,
When I went to the product page for the Hakko FX-888 soldering station there was link called 'calibration' but nothing is there. So. my question is, does this work station need to calibrated?

I wouldn't think you would need calibration for hobby use. Just adjust it so it works for your style of soldering. I have several adjustable irons that have no markings on the dial at all.

It has the ability to be re-calibrated. I have never done it on mine.
