DIY shaft encoder.

Post by urbanMapper »

I am putting a together a robot. I am going to use a ardruino Uno as a brain. I have the motor party shield so I can make to motors I have run. The thing is I need to get feedback to see how far it has gone. I have several sets of APERTURE OPTO-ELECTRONIC SINGLE CHANNEL SLOTTED INTERRUPTER SWITCHES WITH TRANSISTOR SENSORS. I need a circuit diagram and maybe even a parts list of something that would let me count the number of holes that pass between the sensors.
