Yes. The antenna is fully uncoiled. The unit works fine for a few minutes, then will not work unless the transmitter is within inches of the receiver.

In my initial testing, I was wired straight to LEDs. No issues at all. But, when wiring to an MCU (Iteadduino, Fez PandaII, Arduino), all have the same result -- it seems to get 'lost' after less than a minute of operation and will then only work withing 2 or 3 inches...

The MCU noise could be interfering with the receiver.

yes, I have considered that, but don't know what to do to troubleshoot it? And, if that is the case, any suggestions on some sort of shield???

And, if it's MCU noise, shouldn't the forums on Adafruit and other sites be littered with this issue? I'd much rather it just be that I'm doing something wrong -- then I can fix it! :)

How do you have it connected to the MCU? A wiring diagram or photo would be good.

Sigh...

Yes, I know this would be best. I made the poorly thought out decision to respond to the forum while I'm at work, so I will not be able to provide pictures or a schematic until I am home and have some downtime.

Thanks! (I was just hoping this item had been solved and there was a known answer I could try when I get a chance.)
