motors run on repower with L293D and Atmeg328P ?

Post by timwjkl »

Is there a way to stop this? I don't really want the fish fed at every reboot of my chip or hiccup on the power line  Is it a pullup or down resistor somewhere ? I don't want fat fish :D

A pulldown on the Enable pins should help (pins 1 and 9). http://www.adafruit.com/datasheets/l293d.pdf

10 K resistor from the enable pins to ground correct ? If that sounds good i will try that after work tonight.

Thanks

Thanks that works great now when it boots no pumps or feeding. The 10 K resistor on pins 1 and 9 on the L293D is perfect.

Thank You

Tim

Well this means I can cancel the personal trainers. The angles will be singing in the shallows and the corrys will be dancing in the weeds.
