Hey everybody,
I'm planing a project with 2.000 LEDs (10mm white) and I have some troubles with calculating the power supply. I don't know what I'm missing here:
1000 LEDs á 20mA -> 20 A (64W at 3.2V)
If this is right, why does the Adafruit LED Panel needs only a 10W power supply with (5V, 2A)? It comes with 1028 LEDs each 20mA.
Can someone please point me my mistake? I can't see it.

The LEDs in the panel are multiplexed. Not all LEDs are illuminated at the same time.
