1) Can anyone tell me how much the "power on" light draws when it is on.
2) Can the "power on" light be disconnected but leave all the remaining indicator lights on. I basically do not need the blue light when it is working on

Looks like 2mA. You could desolder it or desolder the 1K resistor supplying it.

Ok. Will try that. Different question. I want to change the "charging light" and the "fully charged" light to something that has bendable leads. Can I replace the existing lights. How easy or hard is that to do?

Well, I think that is mainly dependent on your soldering skill level, which I don't know. I would say that is a little advanced maybe since you would be soldering a through hole part (like a T1 / 3mm LED) onto SMT pads. It is easy once you know how, but difficult if you don't.
